ISLAMABAD: The Independence Day of Pakistan was also celebrated in the occupied Jammu and Kashmir on 14th of August.
Amid the deployment of occupation forces, Kashmiri people installed banners and posters inscribed with the slogans of ‘Pakistan zindabad’ and ‘We are Pakistanis’ in different parts of the occupied territory.
These posters and banners were seen in different districts of the occupied Kashmir early on the morning of August 14. Thousands of Indian forces are deployed in every city and town and they try to make it sure that no person in the occupied region celebrated the independence of Pakistan on August 14.
On the other hand, the people of occupied Kashmir celebrate India’s Independence Day on August 15 as the Black Day. The Kashmiris never take part in any function related to the Independence Day of India.
The call to celebrate India’s Independence day as a black day was given by the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC).
In order to avoid any embarrassment, the Indian authorities every year deploy more troops in every town and city as well as in small villages and warn people not to celebrate the Independence Day of Pakistan. Anyone seen celebrating the day and holding Pakistani flag is arrested and taken away to undisclosed places.
