KP to Launch AI Education In Schools From Grade Six
PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has unveiled plans to introduce Artificial Intelligence (AI) courses in schools across the province, beginning at the grade six level.
The initiative aims to equip students with cutting-edge skills crucial for the future of various sectors including education, healthcare, governance, and industry.
During a meeting with officials from the Elementary and Secondary Education Department, Afridi underscored the significance of AI in shaping the global job market and ensuring that the province’s youth are prepared to compete on the world stage. He instructed the department to take swift action to incorporate AI education into the curriculum, emphasizing both coding and innovation.
