KUWAIT CITY: Kuwait has announced a significant decision regarding visit visas, granting a one-month extension for various categories.
According to the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior, the extension applies to business, family, and tourist visit visas. The announcement was made by the Director of Security Media during a television interview.
The decision comes in light of the current situation in the country and the temporary closure of the airport. Authorities stated that the move is based on humanitarian considerations, aiming to prevent legal complications for foreign nationals and their sponsors.
Officials further clarified that all eligible visit visas will be extended automatically. Visa holders are not required to visit the Residency Affairs Department to complete the process.
