KUWAIT CITY: Kuwait has announced new regulations for expatriates, introducing a Multiple-Trip Exit Permit aimed at simplifying travel procedures and improving administrative efficiency.

According to Arab media reports, the Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) has launched the new permit system to facilitate smoother exit and re-entry for foreign workers. The initiative is part of Kuwait’s broader efforts to digitally transform public services and enhance convenience for both employers and employees.

Under the new system, expatriate workers will be able to travel multiple times within a specified period without applying for a single exit permit for each trip. Authorities say this will save time, reduce paperwork, and improve operational efficiency for companies and workers alike.

Officials stated that the Multiple-Trip Exit Permit will benefit both employers (sponsors) and employees, eliminating repeated permit applications and easing travel-related processes.

Applications for the permit can be submitted through the Ashal (Ashal) online portal, where applicants can select the relevant permit category.

The Public Authority for Manpower added that the new permit will be issued for a defined duration, allowing workers to travel freely during that period without administrative hurdles.
