LAHORE: A lady doctor committed suicide at her house at Ghousia Colony located in the Mughalpura area of Lahore, police said.
A brother of the deceased told police that her sister had exchanged harsh words with her mother in the Sehri on Wednesday and went to her room. In the evening, when she didn’t come out the door of the room was broken and she was found dead hanging from the ceiling fan.
He also told the police that the deceased doctor and her mother frequently quarrelled over domestic issues. The doctor was among seven siblings and their father had died about 10 years ago.
The lady doctor had returned after spending a few months in Dubai snd was planning to go back again after Eidul Fitr.
The police have registered a case and launched further investigation.
