MURREE: A landslide has affected a section of the Murree Expressway. According to the Deputy Commissioner of Murree, continuous rainfall caused large rocks to fall from the hill, forcing authorities to close half of the road.
The district administration has closed the affected section to all traffic. However, the remaining part of the expressway is open, and traffic is moving normally. Repair work on the road has begun immediately, and the expressway is expected to reopen fully soon.
Authorities have urged citizens to avoid unnecessary travel and stay away from hilly areas during rainfall due to the risk of landslides.
