Lok Mela to Celebrate Golden Jubilee In Islamabad
ISLAMABAD: The much-anticipated Lok Mela will be held at the Lok Virsa Complex in Islamabad from 7th to 16th of next month, marking the Golden Jubilee of the National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage.
The festival, organized by Lok Virsa, promises to be a vibrant celebration of Pakistan’s rich cultural diversity. Artisans, folk musicians, and performers from every corner of the country will gather to present a captivating display of regional crafts, traditional music, and authentic cuisine.
Pavilions representing all provinces, including Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir, will offer visitors a unique opportunity to explore local traditions and artistic expressions. Additionally, an international pavilion will feature participants from 12 countries, enriching the festival with global cultural exchanges.
