London police closes Qazi Faez Isa attack case

Police say that case was being closed as there were no injuries and losses caused in the attack.

LONDON: The London police have closed the case they registered over an attack on former chief justice of Pakistan Justice Qazi Faez Isa a few months back.

The police said that the case was closed no one was injured or any property such as vehicle damaged in the attack.

The case was registered after the government of Pakistan directed Pakistan’s High Commission in London to file a complaint with the police following an attack by some Pakistanis on a high commission car carrying the former chief justice. 

The high commission had submitted to the police all footage and other evidence of the attack but the police did not proceed further on the case saying nobody was injured or any property damaged in the attack.

Meanwhile, the government of Pakistan has already announced that the passports and national identity cards of the 23 Pakistanis involved in the attack would be blocked.
