Makkah Defence Alliance Strategic Committee to Meet in Riyadh

RIYADH: The Strategic, Political and Defence Committee of the Makkah Defence Alliance will meet in Riyadh, with officials from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye scheduled to participate.

According to sources, Pakistan’s delegation will be led by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.

Secretary General Lieutenant General (retd) Nauman Mahmood will also be part of the Pakistani delegation attending the meeting.

Officials from the three countries are expected to discuss strategic, political and defence-related matters during the meeting.

The discussions are expected to focus on cooperation among the three countries and matters of mutual strategic and security interest.
