PESHAWAR: A court here today sentenced a man to death three times for sexually assaulting an eight-year-old girl and then burn her to death to conceal hus heinous crime.
The prosecution told Child Protection Court Judge Hina Mewish that the man after burning the girl to death gad dumped her dead body into a graveyard.
The police told the court that the case under different sections of the law was registered against the culprit identified as Asif Raza alias Malang at the Badabheer police station, Peshawar.
The police submitted the chalan of the case and after which the court sentenced the culprit to death three times and also fined him Rs1 million.
It may be mentioned that the incident occured in November 2022 after which people had blocked traffic for hours demanding justice for the family.
