Man, son remanded for torching Rangers post

KARACHI: A man and his son were on Monday remanded in police custody for further investigation in a case registered against them and others for torching a picket of Rangers on May 9.

The police produced the two suspects in an Anti-Terrorism Court and sought their remand. The court accepted the plea and gave them in police custody for two days.

The two were arrested with a help of a viral video clip on social media in which they were seen burning down the post of the paramilitary force on Sharae Faisal. 

After the arrest of PTI Chairman Imran Khan in Islamabad in a corruption case on Nay 9, the supporters of his party went on a rampage targeting military offices and installations across the country. 

Law enforcement agencies of now rounding all those involved in the arson attacks with the help of video clips.
