PESHAWAR: The postmortem report on the body of a foreign tourist has confirmed that he committed suicide in Peshawar early this month.
The police have received the postmortem report which stated that the Italian man had died of hanging. His neck was broken and there were marks of rope and blood around it.
Joshua Moises, aged 28 years, from Italy, was staying at a flat in the Peshawar city where he was found dead on December 5.
Hr had been issued a visit visa on October 9 and had reached Bacha Khan International Airport on October 18.
He was staying in a flat of a private housing society in the city where he was found dead.
According to Senior Superintendent of Police Kashif Aftab Abbasi, the tourist killed himself by hanging from the ceiling fan of the room.
He said a piece of rope, a suicide note, his mobile phone and other belongings have been collected.
