RAWALPINDI: A medical team arrived at Adiala Jail and conducted a thorough eye examination of PTI founder Imran Khan.
Sources said the medical team, which included Dr. Afaaq, Dr. Sikander, and Dr. Arif, completed the eye examination along with other medical tests. The team left the jail after an hour-long checkup, which included blood sampling, blood pressure monitoring, and various other tests.
The medical board is expected to submit a complete health report to the government. Based on the findings, a decision will be made on whether to transfer the former prime minister to a hospital.
Earlier, an ambulance arrived at Adiala Jail to facilitate the medical team, which included ophthalmologists and other specialists who conducted the initial medical examination. The ambulance, equipped with modern eye examination tools, was granted access to the jail after necessary procedures. It was brought in through Gate No. 5.
The initial health report, which includes details about Imran Khan’s vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and sugar levels, along with the eye condition, has been forwarded to the Punjab Home Department.
This report is expected to aid in determining the next steps for his medical treatment.
