MUZAFFARABAD: The Election Commission of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has suspended the membership of three members of the Legislative Assembly for failing to submit details of their assets.
According to an official notification issued by the Election Commission Secretariat, the suspension will remain in effect until the concerned members provide their asset declarations.
The suspended members include Akmal Sargala, Ghulam Mohiuddin Dewan, and Muhammad Iqbal.
The move highlights the Commission’s enforcement of legal requirements regarding financial transparency for elected representatives.
