KHARTOUM: A military plane has crashed near the Sudanese capital of Khartoum, killing 46 people.
According to a foreign news agency, a Sudanese military plane crashed near Khartoum on Tuesday due to a technical fault.
As many as 46 people died as a result of the crash, including military personnel and civilians.
Sudanese media reported that the military plane crashed into a civilian house.
Sudan has been in a civil war since 2023 and the Sudanese army is engaged in a war against an armed group called the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), which has previously worked with government forces.
