MARDAN: At least six workers were killed and three others injured after an explosion occurred inside a mine in the Rustam Plodheri hills area.
According to local authorities, Mujahid Ali, Additional Assistant Commissioner, said initial reports suggested that between 10 to 12 افراد were trapped under the debris following the blast. Rescue operations were immediately launched, and all relevant emergency departments were put on high alert.
Rescue officials confirmed that so far nine افراد have been pulled out from the rubble. The injured were shifted to nearby hospitals, where an emergency has been declared to ensure immediate medical treatment.
Rescue efforts are still ongoing to locate and recover any remaining trapped workers.
