ISLAMABAD: Mari Energies Limited has announced the third discovery of gas and oil from the North Waziristan block in less than a month.
It said the new discovery will yield 23.8 million cubic feet of gas per day and 125 barrels of crude oil per day.
In March this year, Mari Energies had announced another discovery from the Waziristan block. This second discovery was estimated to yield 25 million cubic feet of gas per day and 117 barrels of crude oil per day.
Mari Energies announced the first discovery of gas and oil from the Waziristan block in February 2025. The first discovery was estimated to yield 13 million cubic feet of gas per day and 20 barrels of crude oil per day.
