Multan Sultans Beat Islamabad United by Five Wickets

LAHORE: Multan Sultans defeated Islamabad United by five wickets in a Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 11 match played at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.

After winning the toss, Multan Sultans opted to field first. Islamabad United posted 171 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in their allotted 20 overs, setting a target of 172. Mark Chapman top-scored with 40 runs, while Sameer Minhas added 28 and Faheem Ashraf contributed 26.

For Multan, Momin Qamar claimed three wickets, while Mohammad Wasim picked up two.

In reply, Multan Sultans successfully chased the target with eight balls to spare. Josh Philippe led the batting with 55 runs, while captain Ashton Turner remained unbeaten on 43 to guide his team to victory.
