Multan Sultans Clinch Victory Over Hyderabad Kingsmen

LAHORE: Multan Sultans secured an impressive six-wicket win over Hyderabad Kingsmen in a high-scoring Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 match, successfully chasing a massive 226-run target at Gaddafi Stadium.

Chasing 226, Multan Sultans reached the target in the 19th over with four wickets in hand. Sahibzada Farhan starred with an unbeaten 106, playing a match-winning knock, while Arafat Minhas supported with 26 not out.

Steve Smith contributed 46 runs, Shan Masood scored 29, while Josh Philippe and captain Ashton Turner added 9 and 4 runs respectively.

For Hyderabad Kingsmen, Saim Ayub took two wickets, while Maheesh Theekshana and Hasan Khan claimed one wicket each.

Earlier, Kingsmen posted a formidable total of 225 for 5 after opting to bat first. Maaz Sadaqat led the scoring with a quickfire 62, while Sharjeel Khan remained unbeaten on 51.

Other contributors included Saim Ayub (27), Usman Khan (25), Syed Saad Ali (23), and captain Marnus Labuschagne (8). Irfan Khan remained not out on 22.

For Multan Sultans, Mohammad Wasim Jr picked up two wickets, while Ashton Turner, Peter Siddle, and Mohammad Nawaz took one wicket each.
