ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau has filed a reference in an accountability court here in the 190 million pound Al-Qadir Trust corruption case against former prime minister Imran Khan and others.
NAB Rawalpindi, besides Imran and Bushra Bibi, also nominated Bushra’s friend Farah Gogi, former adviser to prime minister on accountability Shehzad Akbar, Zulfi Bukhari and Barrister Zia Mustafa in the corruption case.
NAB recently formally arrested Imran Khan in Adiala jail and the federal government has allowed his trial inside the jail along with the cipher case.
NAB has alleged that PTI government struck a deal with property tycoon Riaz that caused a loss of $239m to the national exchequer.
