LAHORE: PML-N President Muhammad Nawaz Sharif met British High Commissioner to Pakistan Jane Marriott in Lahore, where both sides exchanged views on matters of mutual interest and the prevailing regional situation.
During the meeting, High Commissioner Jane Marriott appreciated Nawaz Sharif’s contributions to Pakistan and acknowledged his role in national politics. She also praised the development initiatives being carried out under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
The discussion also touched upon cultural aspects, with the British High Commissioner expressing pleasure over the celebration of the Basant festival in Lahore.
The meeting reflected a shared commitment to strengthening bilateral engagement and promoting cultural understanding between Pakistan and the United Kingdom.
