Nawaz to meet key political leaders during Quetta visit

Many political leaders are expected to join PML-N during visit of party chief.

QUETTA: Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) supreme leader Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is expected to visit Quetta tomorrow (Tuesday).

Earlier, he was scheduled to fly to Quetta on Monday but a change was made to his intinerary today due to his other engagements in Islamabad.

It is expected that a good number of political figures of Balochistan will either join the PML-N or make alliances with the party of the former three times prime minister of Pakistan.

Earlier, MQM-Pakistan has decided to make an alliance with the PML-N for the forthcoming general elections.

A team of senior PML-N leaders including Khawaja Muhammad Asif abd Saad Rafiq on Saturday also visited Sindh and met leaders of different parties.

The party of Nawaz Sharif is also in talks to enter into an alliance with the JUI-F and ANP in the province of Khyber Pakthunkhwa.

Political observers are of the firm opinion that Nawaz Sharif returned from a self-exile of over four years under an understanding with the establishment.

These claims got credence from the fact that Mr Sharif has been granted bail in all the corruption cases registered against him and a court also ordered unfreezing of his assets in a case recently.
