NBP Gets UnionPay International Award for Marketing Excellence
KARACHI: National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) has been honored with the UnionPay International Award for Strategic Contribution – Marketing Promotion.
The award was presented by Mr. Nadeem Haroon, Country Head UPI (Pakistan, Qatar, Bahrain & Afghanistan), to NBP President & CEO Rehmat Ali Hasnie.
The recognition highlights NBP’s successful marketing partnership with Golootlo, Pakistan’s leading discount platform, which offers more than 30,000 merchant discounts nationwide. Through this collaboration, NBP has executed impactful campaigns to promote debit card usage, drive digital adoption, and enhance customer engagement.
Senior NBP leadership, including Adnan Nasir, SEVP/Chief Digital Officer, and Fouad Farrukh, SEVP/Group Chief Aitemaad Islamic Banking, attended the ceremony, alongside UnionPay International officials
This marks NBP’s fifth major UPI award, following previous honors for Highest Debit Card Issuance, Highest POS Spend, Highest Number of Active POS Users, and Highest Virtual Cards, cementing its leadership in digital banking and customer-focused marketing initiatives in Pakistan.
