ISLAMABAD: The Deputy Director of Operations at the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) under the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) was abducted from his residence at gunpoint.
Rozina Usman, the victim’s wife, filed a complaint at Shamsh Colony Police Station, stating that her husband Muhammad Usman handles highly sensitive cybercrime cases. She reported that four armed men arrived in a vehicle at their home in Zahra Heights, H-13, and forcibly took him away.
Police have registered a case against unknown suspects and have launched a full-scale investigation into the incident.
Security officials are reportedly reviewing surveillance footage and coordinating with relevant agencies to locate the abducted officer.
No further details have been released, and authorities have appealed to the public to provide any information that may assist in the investigation.
