PESHAWAR: The Provincial Administration Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, under the directive of Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, has officially announced the assignments of new provincial cabinet members.
According to the official notification, the following appointments have been made: Mina Khan Afridi has been appointed as Minister for Local Government, Elections and Rural Development, Arshad Ayub Khan will serve as the Minister for Primary and Secondary Education.
Fazal Shakoor Khan has been appointed Minister for Public Health Engineering, Dr. Amjad Ali will oversee the Ministry of Housing.
Aftab Alam Afridi has been assigned as the Minister for Law, Parliamentary Affairs, and Human Rights.
Syed Fakhr Jehan will lead the Ministry of Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Control. Riaz Khan has been appointed Minister for Irrigation. Khaliqur Rahman will now serve as the Minister for Health.
Aqib Ullah Khan has been given the responsibility of Minister for Relief, Rehabilitation, and Reconstruction. Faisal Khan Tarakai will handle the Ministry of Labor (Employment).
Additionally, Mazmul Aslam has been appointed as the Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Finance, while Taj Mohammad Turand will serve as the Special Assistant for Sports and Youth Affairs. Shafiullah Jan has been designated as the Special Assistant for Information, Broadcasting, and Public Relations.
These appointments are expected to bring a fresh approach to the governance and development projects in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as the new ministers and special assistants take charge of their respective portfolios.
