New Polio Case Reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Total Rises to Four

PESHAWAR: A new case of polio has been reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, bringing the total number of polio cases reported in the province this year to four.

According to the provincial health department, a 17-month-old girl from Domel tehsil of Bannu has tested positive for poliovirus.

Health officials said that three polio cases have now been reported in Bannu, while another case has been detected in North Waziristan.

Authorities continue to monitor the situation as efforts to prevent the spread of poliovirus remain ongoing across the province.
