WASHINGTON: The U.S. immigration authorities have announced new measures under which visas and green cards can be revoked.
According to officials, anyone involved in terrorism, incitement to violence, or related activities will not be allowed to remain in the country.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that anyone staying in the U.S. illegally is considered a criminal. He further warned that those who break the law will have their visas and green cards cancelled.
He also said that student visas will not be issued to individuals who intend to participate in violent protests or cause unrest.
