ATC Grants Pre-Arrest Bail to Four PTI Leaders in Nov 26 Protest Cases

ISLAMABAD: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Islamabad has granted pre-arrest bail to four Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders in cases related to the November 26 protest and proceedings concerning the Supreme Court.

ATC Judge Abul Hasanat Zulqarnain approved the bail applications of Asad Qaiser, Atif Khan, Latif Khosa and Faisal Amin Gandapur, directing each of them to submit surety bonds of Rs5,000.

The court granted bail to Asad Qaiser in nine cases, Atif Khan in four, Latif Khosa in three and Faisal Amin Gandapur in six cases. The bail relief will remain effective until February 11.

The development comes days after the court cancelled the four leaders’ bail on account of their absence from previous hearings. They subsequently filed fresh applications seeking pre-arrest bail.
