The operation was conducted as part of ongoing counterterrorism efforts under the government's Azm-e-Istehkam vision, targeting militants associated with Fitna al-Khawarij in the province.

According to security sources, four terrorists were killed during the intelligence-led operation. A large quantity of weapons and ammunition was also recovered from their possession.

Security forces have launched clearance operations in the area to eliminate any remaining militants and ensure that no further security threats persist.
