During the meeting, the progress made on understandings reached during Ishaq Dar’s recent visit to the United Kingdom in August was also reviewed.
The deputy prime minister and foreign minister stressed the importance of continued high-level engagement to further strengthen bilateral relations between Pakistan and the United Kingdom.
Regional and global developments were also discussed during the meeting.
Earlier, Turkish Ambassador Irfan Naziroglu also met with Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar and discussed ways to expand cooperation between Pakistan and Türkiye in various fields and give a new direction to bilateral relations.
The Turkish ambassador briefed the deputy prime minister and foreign minister on progress under various bilateral institutional mechanisms following recent high-level contacts between Pakistan and Türkiye.
