Top Pakistani performers at NY Marathon congratulated

NEW YORK: Consul General of Pakistan Aamer Ahmed Atozai received Danish Elahi and Shoaib Nizami, two top Pakistani performers of the New York Marathon, at the Consulate General of Pakistan in New York.

The consul general congratulated them on their achievement and making Pakistan and the Pakistani-American community proud.

Mr. Elahi shared that a contingent of 34 Pakistanis participated in the marathon. The consul general appreciated strong participation and prominent performance by the Pakistani contingent. He added that participation in such events helps in promoting the soft image of the country.

The Trade & Investment Counsellor, Mr. Adnan Mahmood Awan was also present during the meeting.
