Chief Traffic Officer Lahore Abdul Rahim Shirazi said two senior superintendents of police, seven deputy superintendents and 90 inspectors would perform duties.

More than 1,000 traffic wardens have also been deployed around the stadium, along team routes and on alternative roads.

Ten forklifts and seven breakdown vehicles have been arranged to remove illegally parked vehicles. Four parking areas have been designated to facilitate cricket fans and provide easy access to the stadium.

Mall Road, Canal Road, Jail Road and Main Boulevard Gulberg will remain open to traffic. Roads will be closed briefly only during team movements, and diversions will be lifted as soon as the teams pass.

Spectators travelling from Mall Road, Jail Road, Canal Road and Ferozepur Road can park at Government College for Boys via Ferozepur Road. Those coming from Thokar, Johar Town and Kahna can reach the same parking area via Kalma Chowk and Centre Point.

Fans travelling from Cantonment and Defence can park at CBD, Sunfort Hotel and Liberty Market.

Shirazi said commuters would receive traffic updates through the Rasta app and Rasta FM 88.6. Citizens can also call police helpline 15 for assistance.

He advised residents to avoid unnecessary travel towards Gaddafi Stadium during team movements and to follow traffic staff’s guidance on parking and stadium entry. Commuters were also urged to monitor traffic updates through the Rasta app and FM service.
