U19 Asia Cup Tournament Begins in Oman

The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Under-19 Asia Cup will begin in Oman today with Pakistan set to defend their title.

Pakistan Under-19 will play their opening match against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Friday.

Pakistan are placed in Group A alongside India, the UAE and Nepal.

Team captain Farhan Yousaf said the players were in high spirits and confident ahead of the tournament. He added that the inclusion of new players had further strengthened the squad.

Yousaf said the team was determined to retain the title.
