Zardari, Shehbaz Laud PAF’s Historic Excellence

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have praised the Pakistan Air Force for its remarkable record of professionalism, courage and excellence in defending the country’s airspace.

In separate messages issued on Pakistan Air Force Day, the leaders said the PAF had demonstrated its capabilities and professional strength in aerial conflicts throughout its history.

President Zardari said the PAF, in coordination with the other armed forces, played a decisive role in Marka-e-Haq and delivered a powerful response to the adversary.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif recalled the courage and determination of PAF aviators during the September 1965 war, saying they successfully defended Pakistan’s aerial frontiers and secured victory in the skies.

The prime minister also expressed his best wishes for the PAF’s continued professional success and progress.
