At least 20 people including women and children were killed and scores of others injured in suicide attacks on a wedding ceremony and funeral of the victims in the northeastern province of Borno in Nigera.
Officials said that the suicide bombers including women targeted the wedding ceremony killing many people and then attacked the funeral of the victims.
Scores of people were also injured in the attacks. Soon after the suicide attacks, curfew was imposed in the whole area. No one has accepted responsibility for the attacks.
The region has been scarred by more than a decade of violence by the militant group Boko Haram, which did not immediately claim responsibility for the string of attacks, foreign media reported.
