PESHAWAR: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar on Friday reiterated the government’s decision to repatriate illegal Afghans immigrants.
Talking to a delegation from Sarhad Chamber of Commerce in Peshawar on Friday, he said the policy regarding Afghan refugees was clear. All foreigners illegally staying in Pakistan will be sent to their countries.”
Talking to media in Peshawar, he said writ of the state will be established at all costs and no dialogue will be held with anti-state elements.
Kakar said the Election Commission of Pakistan will issue the schedule for the general elections and the interim government will conduct the elections within the constitutional limits.
In reply to a question, he expressed the hope that petroleum prices will be reduced to provide relief to the public from October 16. The prime minister reaffirmed his commitment to provide maximum relief to the public within the limited resources and the ambit of the constitution.
Answering a question, he said all political parties registered with the Election Commission of Pakistan will contest the elections.
He also presented a cash prize of five hundred thousand rupees to police personnel Umer Saeed who valiantly foiled a terrorist attack in Hangu.
Kakar hailed the role of the police force against the anti-state elements. Our police force is fully capable of foiling the nefarious designs of the enemies of the state, he added.
