ISLAMABAD: The aircraft of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi used Pakistani air space while returning to his country from Poland. However, he did not send any goodwill message to either the people of the government of Pakistan.
Media reports stated that the aircraft of the Indian prime minister remained in the airspace of Pakistan for 46 minutes. His plane, according to the Civil Aviation Authority sources, entered the Pakistani airspace in Chitral from Wakhan corridor at 10:15am and exited from Punjab at 11.1pm into India.
The sources said that it was an international routine for heads of government or state to send out goodwill message to the people and government of the country while flying over its airspace. They send such goodwill message to the air traffic controller of the country concerned through the pilot of the plane.
