Number of Palestinian martyrs in Israeli aggression exceeds 50,000

CAIRO: The number of Palestinians martyred as a result of the Israeli aggression in Gaza since October 7, 2023, has exceeded 50,000.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, 50,021 Palestinians have been martyred and 1,13,274 others injured in Gaza in the Israeli attacks over the past 17 months.
It said 41 Palestinians were martyred and 61 were injured in Israeli attacks in the last 24 hours. According to officials, 233 people have been added to the number of martyrs who were previously missing, but later their testimonies were confirmed by the authorities.
It may be noted that the Israeli army has resumed ground and air strikes in Gaza in violation of the ceasefire agreement, which has resulted in the martyrdom of 673 Palestinians and 1233 injuries since March 18.
According to Arab media, this number of martyrs is only a careful estimate. These are people who have been registered in health centers in the Gaza Strip, in addition to numerous people who have been buried without registration or who have disappeared under the rubble.
