The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has strongly condemned Israel’s recent military strike on Iran, calling it a grave violation of Iranian sovereignty, regional integrity, and international law.
In a statement issued by the OIC General Secretariat, the organization declared that Israel’s aggressive act has endangered peace and stability across the entire Middle East. The OIC urged the international community to take immediate and effective steps to halt Israeli aggression and restore calm in the region.
“The Israeli attack on Iran poses a serious threat to regional peace and security,” the statement read. “Such provocations must be addressed by the global community to prevent further escalation.”
The growing conflict between Israel and Iran has sparked alarm among world leaders. U.S. President Donald Trump described the situation in the Middle East as “dangerous” during a conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Trump also indicated that American negotiators are willing to re-engage in dialogue with Iranian representatives.
Meanwhile, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman also held talks, both condemning Israel’s actions. President Erdoğan labeled Israel a major threat to regional stability, accusing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of attempting to divert attention from the situation in Gaza by launching attacks on Iran.
“Netanyahu is pushing the region towards chaos and is sabotaging nuclear negotiations,” Erdoğan stated. “The attacks are part of a broader attempt to distract from the genocide in Gaza.”
The international community now faces mounting pressure to intervene diplomatically and prevent a wider regional conflict from erupting.
