RAWALPINDI: The media of the military on Saturday said that security forces killed one terrorist and arrested two others in an intelligence-based operation in the Tirah area of Khyber district.

According to the ISPR, there was an intense exchange of firing between the security forces and the terrorists after which one of the terrorists was killed and two others were arrested. It added that weapons and ammunition were recovered from the terrorists who were involved in attacks on security forces and target killings of innocent civilians in the area.

In another incident, two soldiers embraced martyrdom when a bomb exploded in Sarwekai area of South Waziristan.
