ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that the application process for the government Hajj scheme has officially concluded, and no further applications will be accepted.
According to a ministry spokesperson, a total of 118,060 Hajj applications were received from across the country. Applications were processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Ministry has also released a list of verified Umrah companies to assist pilgrims in making proper arrangements.
The spokesperson further stated that the first installment of Hajj expenses has already been collected, while the remaining costs will be collected in a second installment.
The second installment of Hajj payments is scheduled to begin on November 1.
Officials have urged applicants to ensure that all necessary documentation and payments are completed on time to avoid any complications. They also emphasized that pilgrims should rely only on the verified companies listed by the ministry to ensure safe and organized travel arrangements.
