ISLAMABAD: At least 35 human beings have been killed on Sunday whilst Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) militants stormed a Catholic church in Komanda, a city in northeastern Democratic Republic of Congo, ending months of relative calm inside the area.
The ADF, a group related to Islamic State, launched the lethal assault all through night prayers, shocking citizens and drawing condemnation from rights organizations and neighborhood leaders.
Children Among the Victims
The assault occurred round 9pm whilst gunfire erupted near the parish church in Komanda.

The ADF, at first a Ugandan revolt faction, has operated in eastern Congo for years and pledged allegiance to Islamic State in 2019.
