ISLAMABAD: At least 35 human beings have been killed on Sunday whilst Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) militants stormed a Catholic church in Komanda, a city in northeastern Democratic Republic of Congo, ending months of relative calm inside the area.
The ADF, a group related to Islamic State, launched the lethal assault all through night prayers, shocking citizens and drawing condemnation from rights organizations and neighborhood leaders.
Children Among the Victims
The assault occurred round 9pm whilst gunfire erupted near the parish church in Komanda.
Dieudonne Katanabo, a community elder, showed the presence of 35 our bodies, on the whole belonging to members of the Eucharistic Crusade, a spiritual adolescents organization.
Parish priest Father Aime Lokana Dhego introduced that six people have been severely injured and several others, basically youth, were abducted.

He blamed the ADF for the massacre, calling it one of the worst single assaults in current months.
ADF’s Resurgence Raises Fears
Army spokesman Lt Jules Ngongo showed the incident and said the attackers have been believed to be ADF opponents.
The ADF, at first a Ugandan revolt faction, has operated in eastern Congo for years and pledged allegiance to Islamic State in 2019.
Despite joint military operations by means of Ugandan and Congolese forces, the institution maintains to perform killings and abductions across Ituri and other provinces.
This marks the deadliest ADF assault because February, when 23 people have been killed in Mambasa.
