MADINA: A bus carrying Indian Umrah pilgrims from Hyderabad, Telangana, collided with an oil tanker in Madina, Saudi Arabia, resulting in over 40 deaths.
The pilgrims were traveling from Makkah to Madina when the accident occurred. The bus was carrying 42 passengers, including women and children. Following the collision, a fire broke out in both vehicles, worsening the situation.
Indian politician Asaduddin Owaisi stated that, according to his sources, 41 people were killed. Saudi authorities are conducting rescue operations, but an official death toll has not yet been released.
Emergency teams are working to manage the aftermath, and the incident has left the community mourning the tragic loss of lives.
