BARCELONA: The EU-Pak Friendship Federation held a Pakistan Zindabad and Pak Army Zindabad conference in Barcelona, Spain.
The conference was chaired by EU-Pak Friendship Federation Spain President Kamran Khan.
The participants on the occasion reiterated their unflinching support to the state institutions, including parliament, judiciary and the army of Pakistan. They said that overseas Pakistanis would never support any civil disobedience movement if initiated by any group or political party in Pakistan.
EU-Pak Friendship Federation Chairman Chaudhry Pervez Iqbal said that Army is the redline of all Pakistanis and they will never tolerate any propaganda against it. He said that there was an urgent need for national unity, adding Kashmir is the jugular vein of Pakistan and the army was its defender.
Chaudhry Pervez Iqbal said that some paid touts of [Indian Prime Minister Narendra] Modi were continuing a smear campaign against Pakistan and its army while sitting abroad and we have to deal with them and expose them.
The organizers said that Pakistan Zindabad conferences would be arranged in different parts of Europe till march. they said that no political party or individuals should utter any word against Pakistan and its institutions.
The participants of the conference chanted slogans in support of army, army chief Gen Asim Munir.
Others who spoke on the occasion included Faizullah Sahi, Raja Mukhtar Ahmed Soni, Haji Raja Asad Hussain and Mirza Nadeem Baig. Shahid Ahmed Shahid was the stage sceretary.
