UNITED NATIONS: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif held a meeting with the Federal Chancellor of Austria, Christian Stocker, on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister emphasized Pakistan’s interest in deepening ties with Austria, identifying trade, tourism, climate change, and education as key areas for collaboration.
He also highlighted the importance of boosting bilateral trade between the two countries.
Chancellor Stocker welcomed the discussions and expressed Austria’s willingness to explore new avenues of cooperation with Pakistan. Both leaders agreed to facilitate exchange delegations to promote tourism and further strengthen bilateral relations.
This engagement underscores the ongoing commitment of both nations to enhance diplomatic, economic, and cultural ties.
