KUALA LUMPUR: Renewing their shared commitment to closer ties, Pakistan and Cambodia have emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation across multiple fields of mutual interest.
This understanding emerged during a meeting between Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani and Neak Oknha Datuk Dr. Othsman Hassan, the Senior Minister in Charge of Special Mission of the Royal Government of Cambodia, held on the sidelines of the 3rd Global Muslim Business Forum in Kuala Lumpur.
During the interaction, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani highlighted Pakistan’s firm commitment to enhancing its engagement with Southeast Asia, particularly in sectors involving economic connectivity, improved trade facilitation and closer parliamentary collaboration.
Both sides expressed satisfaction with the current trajectory of bilateral ties and agreed to continue high-level engagement to sustain the positive momentum in Pakistan–Cambodia relations and explore additional avenues for deeper cooperation.
