Pakistan, China reaffirm commitment to deepening partnership

TIANJIN (CHINA): Pakistan and China have reaffirmed their strong commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation in pursuit of regional peace, stability, and development.

According to Radio Pakistan, the commitment was underscored during a meeting between Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, held on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Council of Foreign Ministers meeting in Tianjin.

In their wide-ranging discussions, the two leaders reviewed key areas of mutual interest, with particular emphasis on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), regional connectivity, and multilateral cooperation.

Both sides highlighted the enduring strength of the Pakistan-China All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership, expressing satisfaction with the ongoing close collaboration across multiple sectors. They agreed to maintain high-level exchanges and deepen cooperation to advance shared goals and address regional and global challenges.

The meeting reflected the two countries’ shared vision for a stable and prosperous region, reinforcing their longstanding strategic ties and commitment to working together in multilateral forums.
