Pakistan Consulate in Jeddah Introduces E-Passport Facility
JEDDAH: The Consulate General of Pakistan in Jeddah has officially launched a new e-passport facility for Pakistani citizens.
According to a spokesperson from the consulate, the e-passports are equipped with advanced technology, including laser printing and microchip features to ensure data security.
The e-passports also include multiple security features, making them more secure than traditional passports. Travelers holding e-passports will be able to use e-gates at airports, facilitating faster and smoother immigration procedures.
The consulate emphasized that the new e-passports meet international standards and allow for immediate and efficient verification of passengers’ data at airports.
This initiative aims to provide modern and secure travel services for Pakistanis living abroad.
