NEW YORK: Pakistan has strongly asserted that India is the largest supporter of state-sponsored terrorism in the region.

During a session at the United Nations General Assembly committee, Pakistan’s representative Asif Khan delivered a sharp and unequivocal response to India, alleging that the country is actively involved in supporting banned militant groups such as the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), and Majid Brigade.

Asif Khan emphasized that India’s irresponsible and aggressive behavior poses a severe threat to peace and stability in the region. He further stated that Pakistan, in May, exercised its legitimate right to self-defense in response to India’s provocative actions, delivering a strong and decisive response.

He stressed that Pakistan will continue to expose India’s duplicity and highlight its role in promoting terrorism, ensuring that the international community is fully aware of India’s actions.
