BRIJING: The Pakistan Embassy in Beijing held a distinguished flag-hoisting ceremony to commemorate Pakistan’s Independence Day and celebrate the historic victory in Marka-e-Haq during Operation Bunyanum-Marsoos.
Deputy Head of Mission Bilal Mahmood Chaudhary led the flag hoisting, while messages of felicitations from the President, Prime Minister, and Foreign Minister of Pakistan were read, paying tribute to the sacrifices of the nation’s founders under Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
The messages also highlighted Pakistan’s decisive victory in Marka-e-Haq during the conflict with India from May 6–10, 2025, emphasizing the importance of national unity, perseverance, and adherence to core ideals for building a progressive and prosperous nation.
Speaking at the event, Bilal Mahmood Chaudhary lauded the courage and resilience of the Pakistani armed forces and citizens, underscored the enduring strength of Pakistan-China relations, and recognized the vital role of the diaspora in promoting national development and fostering bilateral ties.
The ceremony featured patriotic songs and a video presentation chronicling the events of Marka-e-Haq, adding a sense of solemnity and national pride to the occasion.–APP
